Tag Tuesday-Easter eggs

The theme of this week's Tag Tuesday is Easter Eggs.
This theme made me think of my Polish painted eggs or pisanki. The ones I have are made of wood and look very festive displayed in a glass bowl for Easter decorations. I have photographed my tag on top of them. They are a reminder of when we lived in Poland in the early 1990s.
For the tag I took some card stock and collaged eggs on top, using multi- coloured papers and attached the word eggs.

Tag Tuesday-Goosey

The theme for last week's Tag Tuesday was Goosey .
This could include Geese, Ducks or duck egg blue. I wasn't inspired by the theme of ducks or geese, I don't know why. I only live a few minutes walk from the River Thames and it is full of ducks and geese, so all I had to do was go and look at them! However when I went to Homebase (diy store) and found some paint catalogues, inspiration struck! I happily cut them up and fixed them onto a Soulcal tag (thanks to  one of my teenagers), firstly coating it with gesso.

The River at Henley

The River Thames looked lovely at the weekend in the spring sunshine at Henley.
I never get tired of the river, it changes all the time, not only with the weather, but at different times of day

Tag Tuesday-Mad March Hare

Tag Tuesday's theme this week is Mad March Hare.
For my tag I have drawn a hare onto Indian paper and
added it to a collaged background of trees and grass from an old clothing catalogue.
(I knew my stash would come in handy!)
Here he is sitting in the grass, ready to go leaping off!

Tag Tuesday-Birds

The subject for this week's Tag Tuesday is Birds.

For my tag, I immediately thought of the set of bird stencils that my mum bought me when I was about 9 years old. I remember going to the art shop with her to choose them. Little did I know that I would still be playing with them all these years later!
I used Koh-i-Nor paints on Indian paper, which gives a nice blurry effect. I wasn't sure which birds they were supposed to be, so have made up my own colours.
